The Los Angeles Times covered our survey in depth in "Fewer than half of Americans expect midterm elections to be ‘free and fair,’ poll finds". It was featured in the news broadcasts and online on CBS8, NBC7, KPBS and Newswise, received coverage in UCSD Today and the Election Law Blog, and even led to a Reddit thread. We have also since received coverage in Fox 5 San Diego, Arizona Daily Sun, NPR, and USA Today.

This survey was the focus of the lead front-page article in the LA Times on Presidents Day and was covered later that week in UC San Diego Today. This led to coverage in venues such as NPR’s All Things Considered, the Union-Tribune, San Diego’s KPBS, Arizona Central, and The Daily Beast. We also received international coverage from Australia's SBS News.
